    Palak Puri / Spinach Puri


    Ingredient:

    Spinach/ palak : 2 cup 
    Maida (all-purpose flour) : 1/2Cup
    Wheat flour  :1 Cup
    Salt to taste
    Oil  : tbsp
    Water :  tbsp
    Sooji/ Semolina :  tbsp
    Oil for deep frying


    Directions:

    1. Wash and chop palak. Take water in a sauce pan and bring it to boil. Add palak to cook it for 5 mins until it is completely wilted
    2. Let it be cool and Grind palak in a blender and turn it into a fine paste.
    3. now take  a bowl, add sooji, little water, oil, salt,wheat flour (atta), maida, and spinach puree, mix all of these together to make a tight/tough dough(add water only if needed.)
    4. Divide the dough into equal lemon sized balls and roll it into poories by dusting some flour or with oil into small puris with a rolling pin or puri machine
    6.Heat oil in a kadai  or deep bottom pan and put puris  and fry them with the help of a slotted spoon and press with a spoon to puff the poori.
    7.Flip over to other side and let them  cook to golden brown on both sides.
    8. serve with poori  curry
