    Prawns Biryani


    Two methods of Prawns biryani:

    Frist method for Prawns Biryani


    Ingredients:
    Basmati Rice - 2 cups(soak for 10 mins)
    Bay leaf -2 nos
    Cinnamon -2 inches 1 small piece(Daalchini)
    Cloves - 3-4
    Mint -  1 bunch
    Prawns - 500 grms (shelled,washed,cleaned)
    Onions -2 small(cut into slices)
    Green chillies - 2 nos.
    Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
    Salt - to taste
    Elachi - 2 nos.
    Biryani masala -1 tsp
    Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
    Oil - 2-3 tsp 
    Ghee - 2 tsp
    Red chilli pwrd - 1/2 tsp
    coriander pwrd - 2 tsp
    Turmeric pwrd - 1/4 tsp

    Method:
    1.Take a kadai  heat oil and ghee.
    2.Then add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, elachi  fry them for a 1 min.
    3.Then add mint,Coriander, onions, green chilly, ginger garlic paste and fry them well.
    4.Then add the prawns and mix well .Let it  fry until the water evaporated.
    5.Now add the  soaked  basmati rice and mix it well.Then add water( use 3 cups of water)
    6.Now add salt, biryani masala powder and mix it well.Finally add coriander leaves
    7.Close the lid  cook on low  flame (in a presser cooker let it give 2-3 whistles)
    8.Now serve it with a raita.

    Note :

    1. we can also use coconut milk instead of 3 cups of water use 2 cps of milk and one cup water for good taste.
    2. For soaking a rice it will not cut into pieces

    second method for Prawns Biryani:

    Ingredient:

    oil - 2 tbsp
    Elachi - 2 nos.
    Cinnamon -2 inches small piece
    Basmati Rice - 2 cups(soak for 10 mins)
    Biryani masala -1 tsp
    Turmeric pwrd - 1/4 tsp
    Red chilli pwrd - 1/2 tsp
    Salt - to taste
    coriander pwrd - 2 tsp
    Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
    Mint -  1 bunch
    curd - 2 cups
    fried onion - 1 nos.
    Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
    Green chillies - 1 cup (chopped)
    Prawns - 500 grms (shelled,washed,cleaned)
    Method:
    1.Take a pan heat the water add oil,salt and masala.Then add rice and cook till 90% done
    2.Take a bowl add Prawns, Red chilli pwrd,salt,Turmeric,Ginger garlic paste marinate in 15 mins.
    3. Heat oil and fry prawns till 50% done and take away
    4.Now add cinnamon, elachi and curd cook for 1 min and add prawns,Coriander leaves,mints mix well.
    5.add curd and all other spices and add shrimp and mix top with hot rice and let it cook for not more than 7-10 min
    6.serve hot with other dishes
