Ingredients:
cashew nuts -3 tbsp
Mint leaves - 2-3 tbsp
coriander - 2-3 tbsp
biryani masala -1 tsp
garam masala 1 tsp
cauliflower - 1 cup(chopped)
ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
green chilli - 3no.s(sliced)
onions - 2 or 3 medium(fried)
carrots -1cup(chopped)
potatoes -1cup(chopped)
french beans-1 cup(chopped)
Green Peas-1/2 cup
jeera -1 tsp
dalchini-1 tsp
Basmati Rice -2 cups
oil - 4 tbsp
curds - 1/2 cup
salt To Taste
Method:
1.Take a pan add oil,add zeera,dalchini and stir for about half minute,Add green chillies, ginger garlic paste,garam masala,chopped vegetables mix well and add salt,need to cook till they are half cooked.
2.Now add mint,coriander,biryani masala mix some curd
3.Soak rice for 1 hr in a bowl. Now boil water add rice to it, ,the rice to be cooked half (70%) and strain the rice.
4.Take a biryani bowl or pressure cooker or in a pan or electric cooker.
5.Add half of the cooked vegetables spread all over the pan add some curd,nuts if required,salt,fry onions,add half rice, repeat the same process again. Lastly add fried onions.close it with a lid,and cook it for 5 min in a very slow flame.And mix well before serving.
6.Garnish with cashew nuts and green coriander leaves,or tomatoes as optional.
7.Serve the biryani with raita
