    Paneer Pulao


    Ingredients:
    oil - 1 tsp 
    butter - 2 tsp 
    onions-1/2 cup (thinly sliced)
    ginger and  garlic paste - 2 tbsp
    green chilli paste -1 tbsp
    Green Peas - 1/4 cup
    tomato puree -3 tbsp
    rice - 2 cup (soaked for 1 hour and drained)
    paneer cubes -250 grms
    salt to taste
    sugar - a pinch(optional)
    garam masala - 1/2 tsp
    curds - 1 tbsp 
    mint leaves - 2 tbsp
    coriander - 2 tbsp

    Method:
    1.Heat the oil and butter in a pressure cooker or a pot or a pan.
    2.Add the onions in a medium flame and saute  till the onions turn golden colour (translucent).
    3.Add the ginger & garlic and green chilli paste in a medium flame for another 1 minute.
    4.Add the tomato puree  again for 1 minute.
    5.Add the rice and Green Peas  for another 1 minute.
    6.Add the paneer (fried in ghee or butter till it became for little brown colour) for 1 more minute.
    7.Add 2 cups of hot water, salt, sugar, garam masala and curds, mix well cover the pan tightly with a lid(2 whistles for pressure cook.)
    8.Before opening the lid just allow the steam to escape .
    9.Serve hot garnished with coriander and paneer cubes.
    10.Serve with raitha
