Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup raw rice and Urad Dal –3/4cup, soaked in water for 2-3 hrs
Water – 1 ½ cup
Salt to taste
For Top Layer
Egg – 1 each for 2 dosa
Small onion
Green chilli (optional)
Salt to taste
method
. Drain and grind smoothly the rice and tur dal.Keep it overnight for fermentation(pongunta).After that fermentation add salt to the batter and mix well.
For Egg filling
.Beat eggs with chopped onion, green chilli, and salt and keep it aside
Egg dosa
.Heat non-stick tawa or flat tawa on high flame till hot, reduce heat.
.pour a laddle full of dosa batter, spread the batter with the bottom of the ladle evenly making circles to form a Dosa and drizzle with some oil along the edges.
.Immediately pour 3 tbsp of beaten eggs over dosa in the same circular shap
.Cook on medium heat for 1-2 mts and increase to high flame for a few seconds and flip the other side and cook for 20-30 seconds or till done.serve it hot
Tips :
. using a non-stick tawa make sure that its greased well. Otherwise egg dosa may not come proper when you flip it.
.you can use top of the egg tamatos,black pepper,red chilli powder and slat as your optional
