    Cabbage Vada

     

    Ingredients

    Chopped Cabbage-1 cup
    Urad dal-1/2 cup
    Green chillies-3
    Chopped ginger-1 tsp
    Chopped Curry leaves-few
    Coriander leaves-few
    Salt to taste
    Oil for deep frying

    Method

    Wash urad dal and soak in water for 3 hours. Drain water and make a thick paste in a mixer.
    Take this mixture in a bowl and add the remaining all ingredients in it.

    Mix it well and take small amount of mixture. Make a small ball and make a whole in the middle of the ball using your thumb finger.

    Carefully drop it on hot oil in the kadai and cook both sides of vada in medium heat.
    Serve hot with sambar or chutney.
